For years I have searched within myself to forgive you.
How can I forgive a wrong that can not be corrected?
There is no atonement.
You have burned a wound deep within my heart.
You have created a dark place in my mind.
One that cast shadows over my existence.
No expression of sorrow can undo what you have done.
My only hope is you bear the burden of guilt and shame.
Your only chance of peace will come when you are silenced.
It lies in the hands of our Maker.
Will you beckon him for forgiveness?
Shall he pardon you for your sins?
Seek no forgiveness from me.
I shall not grant you that comfort.
The only chance of atonement is knowing your guilt makes you suffer alone.
