Both Light And Dark Live Within Us Part III

So many have emailed saying they are a true light. That they are not sinners. Again, I feel that we are all sinners. One person in particular read my first two parts and was offended. She felt I was judging . It is not my place to judge nor will I. However, I will speak my mind when I read certain things.

This person has blogs up asking people to ban certain businesses because they support gays. The blogs cast judgement and condemn the gay community. Claiming that gays are a threat. What right does someone have to label another person a threat without even knowing them? She also states that they are all going to hell. Did I miss something? Did God have a want ad out looking to hire his replacement? The bible clearly states we have one judge.

Commandment IX: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

The blogs gave actual locations and some gave names. This to me is a hate crime. It promotes hate. I choose to believe a loving God would not condone hate. Again, the bible states we have one judge. What right do they have telling people they are going to hell because of their lifestyle? To preach we have a forgiving God and then tell someone they are going to hell does not make sense to me. Are these people assuming that when they break Commandment IX they are going to be forgiven?

Gossiping goes against Commandment IX. Spreading rumors goes against Commandment IX.
How many reading this can honestly say they have never gossiped?

Lust: I am writing this online..enough said

Gluttony: Is anyone on here over weight? Has anyone made their child eat even when their child complained they were full? Are we teaching them gluttony? Have you ever eaten just because something tasted so good you could not stop?

Greed: I can be a very giving person. I like to send care packages to people. However, I can also be greedy. If I have something I like I am not sharing it with anyone. You can ask my kids. I love my diet green ice tea. When they come over they can have anything else but that. I work my butt off and I look forward to sitting down and enjoying my tea. The only time I share is if I have a lot of it. Otherwise I tell my kids to back off my tea. Is there anything you are not willing to share. Have you ever horded something?

Sloth: How many of us have had days we just laid on the couch and did nothing? Have you ever had a day when you were just plain lazy?

Wrath: Have you ever been angry? Stewed in your anger at someone?

Envy: Did you ever envy someone because they have far more then you do? Perhaps envy someones talents?

Vanity: Have you ever looked in the mirror and told yourself you look good? Do you buy clothing because you know you will look good in it? Have you ever told a little girl she is so beautiful? Maybe even told her she is the most beautiful girl in the world? Are you not teaching her vanity?

I believe both light and dark live within us. It's what I call grey. I believe when we accept this we are more accepting of others. It is not our place to judge. I believe that if you are going to preach the bible you turn people away when you judge and condemn.

Different cultures have different beliefs. Can you condemn someone for not being a Christian when they do not even know what that means? When they have been raised in an environment that teaches a different belief?

There is a man online who has his own Congregation. This man has emailed me for almost 15 months. He tells me he can make me a Princess of his church. I looked into him and he is a Pastor of a church. This man tells me he wants marriage so he can bed me without sin. He always writes about how he is a pure man and will do right by me. He says he is a man of God and wants to teach me. This same person puts up blogs and condemns people for their lifestyle. Well Almighty then! Send some woman emails for 15 months about bedding them the Christian way and then condemn others.

I respect others beliefs. However, I do not want to be condemned for my own beliefs. I do not expect everyone to agree with what I write. However, I do not expect people to attack me for it either. If they want to question or debate that is fine with me. I am not saying it is alright to break the Ten Commandments. But before someone casts stones I think they need to take a better look at themselves.
